An ill-tempered young Chaosite of noble blood. Son of Lady Dara and Lord Gramble Sawal. Jurt is the maternal half-brother to the half-breed Lord Merlin. Jealous of his prominent brother and greedy for the throne of Chaos, Jurt emulates the mad-sorcerer Lord Brand of Amber by attempting to transform himself into a "living trump". Later he repents his egoic madness and allies with Merlin -- a change possibly brought on by the incomplete ritual of transformation.
